Journaling For Personal Growth

Sunday, June 13th, 2010

One of the best ways to gain clarity about your life is the diary of thoughts and feelings. Especially if you’re in conflict or confusion about certain situations, writing your thoughts out can be incredibly enlightening!
One need not be a “writer”, the magazine effectively. In fact, his writing skills can not be good at all. Only the act of putting his thoughts in a logical order and translating them into written form can help you understand how you feel and why.
Here are some tips to help you use daily for personal growth:
1) Keep simple. No need to spend much money for a luxury magazine. In fact, unless Journaler experience, I recommend using a portable low-cost line. So do not feel much pressure to be “perfect” as you type. Do not be afraid to scribble and scrawl whatever happens to flow on paper.
2) Do not hold back. When the magazine for personal growth, did not seek to change themselves or make your writing understandable to anyone else. The technical version is to put pen to paper and just write what comes to mind. No one else can see unless you want to achieve ‘er rip!
3) Focus on feelings. If you have questions about what to write in your journal, begin with the phrase: “I feel …”. Usually receive their thoughts and feelings that flow, and you will be better able to express in writing.
4) tour diary. Another useful technique is the daily tour, that means delivering a message for you. Especially if you are struggling with something specific, you can get the words flowing over with a nudge in the right direction. Examples would prompt: “Describe your perfect career and the reasons that you like.” Or: “Do you think the most painful experience in their past and write about how it affects who you are today.”
5) Regularly review the entries. Looking back at the journal entries can be very enlightening and amazing clarity about you. With time and practice, is likely to begin to see patterns in their thoughts, behaviors and beliefs. The most important thing is to maintain an objective attitude, we look at the entries. Do not judge or belittle yourself. Keep the focus on personal growth and development. Rather than punish or flatter his latest diatribe, ask yourself: “How I can use this knowledge to improve my situation now?”
If you are not a natural writer, the newspaper can seem like a great effort at first. But it’s worth! Because I am a writer, the newspaper is something I’ve always done. As a child, I was writing journals that focused more on my everyday experiences. “Dear diary, today a cute guy smiled at me and I melt!” In my twenties, I decided that I wanted to understand myself better, so I began keeping journals with a focus on self-discovery. This practice has paid off in surprising ways over the last decade or so.
You can also save the day for reasons other than personal growth. For example, you can start a gratitude item to record some things we are thankful for each day that will help you feel more positive about life. You can keep a diary of spiritual growth, to record prayers and meditations, which were effective for you. You can keep a diary to learn about the messages your dreams hold. The possibilities are endless!
If you really do not like writing with pen and paper, can also take an online diary as a blog. There are many providers that offer free accounts to members, easy to use interfaces. Two popular choices are http://Blogger. http://LiveJournal com. com. However, if you keep an online diary, you can do so anonymously so that no one else can see. It’s amazing what search engines can find nowadays, and you do not want your neighbor or employer bump their private thoughts. Most blog hosts allow the possibility of maintaining a blog is not visible to the public. Or you can simply remain anonymous with your blog, but allow others to read. Use a pseudonym and do not give any information about you.
Finally, do not think you should follow all the rules laid down his newspaper. Do what works best for you and enjoy! :-)

The Difference Between Diaries, Journals & Blogs

Saturday, June 5th, 2010

The Journal of texts, magazines and blogs are terms often used interchangeably to mean the same thing. Many people associate a diary with a special book closes with a padlock to keep your thoughts and feelings private. The magazines are recorded voices are often not as private, although you can choose to continue. A blog is often used to publicly share their thoughts on specific topics. Blogs have become so popular that companies are also being used to update people on changes in your industry or company. However, each person is different and unique in itself and can make for different uses. You can also choose to use one, two or all three.
A newspaper is usually the most personal of the three. They are often organized by date and space to write what happened during the day. Many diarists often think of their journals as a special friend you can trust in. For example, Anne Frank called her diary “Kitty.” He began his entries with “Dear Kitty” as if writing to a dear friend who knows all their secrets. The appointment of a journal only has a psychological effect as it gives the writer a sense of someone who listens to their innermost feelings and secrets.
The newspaper is the same word or word Diarium Latin “per diem.” A diary tends to be more focused on the thoughts of each day, while a newspaper can be written only sporadically. The page of a newspaper the day is popular among young girls and are often given as gifts. However, the newspaper that goes back hundreds of years and one of the most famous first belonged to the diaries of Samuel Pepys. Pepys is known that the publication is more personal, although there was more of a notation of the companies in the past. Many books have been published in magazines as well. These magazines, which gave us great insight and knowledge of the history of all parts of world.
A journal is a diary in a sense. It can be used to document the events of life as a diary, but not necessarily a daily activity. There are also different types of journals that a person can achieve. There are travel journals to document their travels through several states, country or world. There are magazines training that helps track the type of exercise you do and make comments on it.
Magazines have become popular in schools. Teachers often give students a written request to get them started in their journal writing. Each week the students can write a part of the system and then the journal with their teacher. These are great because they get children to think creatively and learn to put their thoughts and feelings on paper. It is an important step to teach children to express and communicate effectively through the written word.
A blog is another form of newspaper or magazine, but one that is digital and the Internet. These are often referred to as online journals / magazines or personal blogs. You can document their experiences in a journal or even social criticism. Many people use their personal blogs as a way to keep in touch with friends and family and share their thoughts and feelings on certain issues. You can choose to keep a personal blog or share with the world. By sharing with the public, you can open the blog to the personal observations of those who see and read the blog. This is only for the blog and many personal opinions are common throughout the world of blogs, some are good and others can be very strong.
One of the online journals or blogs that first was Claudio Pinhaneza Open Diary. “This was the first website that was published in a magazine format in a web page. This site was published in 1996 by MIT Media Lab Given several online newspapers appeared and now the web is full of them. There were also several web pages open since then for people to enjoy their online newspapers and magazines. They are especially popular among teens and college students.
The blog also has changed the world in terms of marketing. In 2006, Entrepreneur magazine has ranked among the top marketing tools you can get your website noticed. Web site promotion is a common obstacle in marketing an online business, because blogs are easy to install and use, have become a popular way to share news and information with an online community.
