jbulie’s blog ~ an online journal julieangelos.com paintings

Saturday, January 28th, 2012

jbulie’s blog julieangelos.com is an online journal written by an American woman living in Italy. Everyone has a story. Here’s hers. One day she was sitting at her office at her desk working for a multi national corporation, with a nice boss, rent control apartment by the beach in Santa Monica, when she prayed for courage to change her life for the better. Her super cool boss Anne offered her a raise. In a moment of clarity, she answered. ‘No thank you, I’m going to move to Italy.’ So she did. Within two months she left her beautiful apartment, sold her automatic car, found a nice owner for her sweet cat, and bought a one way ticket to Europe. She has since married a great man who is a cook and a masseur and super nice guy. They have bought a house and have two boys whom they adore. Please feel free to add a bookmark, follow her on facebook or twitter at jbuliesblog. ~~~~~~~~~ Quotes ~~~~~~~~ ♡ Inside me lives a skinny woman trying to get out. I can usually shut the b*tch up with cookies. ♡ I wrote the first faint line, faint, without substance, pure nonsense, pure wisdom of someone who knows nothing, and suddenly I saw the heavens unfastened and open. ♡ ♡ Call on God but row away from the rocks. ♡ Sometimes in order to be happy in the present moment you have to be willing to give up all hope for a better past. ♡ Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. ♡ Awake, my little one! Before
